Early Career at Pakistan Television (1999-2002)

Misbah began his career in the Electronic Media industry as a Broadcast Engineer at Pakistan Television in 1999. During his time there, he had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed TV directors like Hyder Imam Rizvi, Kazim Pasha, Sahira Kazmi, Iqbal Lateef, Qasim Jalali, Tajdar Hyder, and many others.

Joined Geo TV (2003)

After gaining valuable experience at Pakistan Television for 3 years, Misbah made a significant move in 2003 by joining Pakistan’s first private news TV channel, Geo TV. At GEO TV, he assumed the responsibilities of being the Head of Quality assurance and Shift In-charge. Additionally, Misbah became a vital part of the immensely popular show “Aaj Kamran Khan Kay Sath.”

Transition to CNBC Pakistan (2005)

In 2005, Misbah’s career took an international turn as he seized an opportunity to work with CNBC Pakistan, the country’s first international TV channel. At CNBC Pakistan, he played a crucial role in executing news, business, and economic-based live programs. During his tenure there, he also contributed to their sister TV channel, SAMMA TV, by participating in the installation and designing process.

Leadership at Dawn News TV (2011)

In 2011, Misbah further advanced his career by joining Dawn News TV as Head of PCR, where he oversaw the operation of 3 PCRs for round-the-clock broadcasting.

Role at BOL TV (2015)

In February 2015, he joined BOL TV as Assistant Manager Broadcast, and there he was responsible for managing all live and recorded programs related to news and current affairs. However, due to crises in the BOL group, he eventually decided to leave the job.

Head of Operations at Business Plus & Zaiqa TV (Sep 2015)

In September 2015, Misbah took on the role of Head of Operations at Business Plus TV and Zaiqa TV. He also gained experience working as the General Manager at Faiz TV (Web TV).
